that's the way love goes

i'm super tired and ready for bed.
i had a little "crisis" this weekend and ended up moving my entire bed in search of bugs... not fun. i know, not cute. nc!
but now my bed is super clean and vaccummed underneath and so i can sleep in peace and exhale deeply. :)

today was a long day. i fell asleep during new staff training (oops!) because i stayed up till 2 with chizu and her best friend kara. i love that girl (chizu). its been such a blessing having her on staff with me. i'm still hoping her roommate decides to move out but i realize that is wishful thinking (why would she leave a good thing?)

met up with stephen and miguel to plan bible study for wednesday. we are debriefing the day of silence (a day to protest the hate crimes to the LGBTA community). these are two solid leaders, that's for sure! saw some other students, it was actually good to be on campus even though i was dead tired.

welps, that's all for me. man, i miss my intellectual friends.... i miss talking about ethnic studies with ethnic studies peoples and going on for hours about important and not-so-important things. maybe i'll start a revolution of thought. get those around me to critically engage with what they are doing. so this is a shot out to warren, denise, cathy, jessica, mayln, brian, jenee, and all those other peeps that kept me on top of my game.
