feeling very philosophical tonight

*sigh*
sorry alyssa that you had to listen to me rant. i love you and cherish you and by no means meant to disrespect you or your beliefs. i mean, come on... you're a republican and you're still my best friend :)

i just had a very long discussion about women in ministry with my new roommate lillian and then more a monologue with alyssa. ergghh... things will be a lot better when Jesus comes back. that's my conclusion for now.

i don't want to go to bed bitter at the world, so i'm going to stop unpacking (it will be waiting for me tomorrow, guaranteed) and read a book and then pray. it's days like these that i want to learn greek and become the world's greatest bible expositor. but i have to realize that Jesus is the one transforming hearts and doing the work... and some works will he only bring to completion when he returns. it's in moments like these where knowing Jesus gives you some resolution, even if you have to wait for a while to see the fruit of it.
