thursdays are the best days

thursdays have yet to let me down. i can count on thursdays to be great days. maybe they are so good because they are my favorite days of the week. it probably affects the way i see them.

this thursday is especially special because it is the only day this week i'll be in town. i just got back from a three day retreat to julian and will be going on a two day retreat (friday-saturday) in the distant mira mesa (which is about... less than 10 miles from my house).

iv staff go on these three day retreats three times a year..... i feel like i'm doing new year's resolutions all over again each time. this time, i'll share two of the things i'm committing to. i plan to have philippians memorized by november, and i want to drink 8 glasses of water each day. so as i'm doing this blog, i'm downing 32 ounces of the good stuff! :)

so that's pretty much it. if you want to know more about the retreat, ask me. you can email, call, whatever you got to do. one of my other goals was to go to bed by midnight each night, so i'd like to kick that off tonight with some reading before bed time... so away i go!
